Mi Mix 4 Launched with in display CAMERA: Price and Specifications

Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has launched at a special event in China as Xiaomi’s first commercial smartphone to come with an in-display camera. The phone comes with a new camera tech that hides the front-facing sensor under the display. Xiaomi calls the camera ‘Camera Under Panel (CUP)’. Other key highlights of the phone includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, triple rear camera setup and more.

Mi Mix 4 Price, Availability Details

Mi Mix 4 price starts at CNY 4,999 (around Rs 57,400) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, CNY 5,299 (around Rs 60,800) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant and CNY 5,799 (around Rs 66,600) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant. The phone also comes in 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration that is priced at CNY 6,299 (around Rs 72,300)

The Mi Mix 4 is offered in Ceramic Black, Ceramic White, and an all-new Ceramic Grey colour options. It will be available for purchase in China starting August 16. The phone will also be available for pre-bookings in the Chinese market later on Tuesday.

Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any details about the international availability and pricing of Mi Mix 4.

Mi Mix 4 specifications

The Mi Mix 4 runs on Android 11-based MIUI on top and features a 6.67-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) 10bit TrueColor AMOLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Mi Mix 4 comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108MP primary HMX sensor with an f/1.95 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS). Other two sensors Include a 13MP sensor with a periscope-shaped telephoto lens to support 50x zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.

For selfies and video calls, the Mi Mix 4 comes with a 20MP selfie camera. It comes with CUP technology with 400ppi of pixel density. Xiaomi claims that it matches the pixel density, brightness, and color detail of the surrounding screen to completely hide the camera zone.

Mi Mix 4 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity options on board include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support to offer precise spatial positioning capabilities. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone is 8.02mm thick and weighs 225 grams.
