Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has launched in India as the newest model in the Mi series. The new smartphone is a more affordable version of the Mi 11, that debuted in December 2020. Xiaomi did not launch the Mi 11 to the Indian market and instead chose to launch the Mi 11X series in April this year. The Mi 11 Lite comes in a 4G version in India, but Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain stated during that the company has plans to bring the 5G model of the Mi 11 Lite to the country.

Mi 11 Lite price in India starts at Rs 21,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of this smartphone is priced at Rs 23,999. The Mi 11 Lite is comes in Jazz Blue, Tuscany Coral, and Vinyl Black colour options. This smartphone was launched globally at a price of EUR 299 (Rs 26,400) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model.
It’s pre-orders will start from June 25, 12PM (noon) through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail channels, with its first sale scheduled for 28th June.
Customers pre-ordering the Mi 11 Lite will get a Rs 1,500 discount, and there is an additional discount of up to Rs 1,500 for customers purchasing the phone using an HDFC Bank card.

Coming to specifications, Mi 11 Lite runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12. It features a 6.55-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED 10-bit display with 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz of touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Under the hood, the Mi 11 Lite is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, paired with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage as standard that is expandable upto 512GB via microSD card.
As for optics, the phone carries a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, with an f/1.79 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera (119° field-of-view) with an f/2.2 aperture, and a tertiary 5MP telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone supports up to 4K video recording at 30fps. For selfies and video chats, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.45 aperture.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is backed by a 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The battery is claimed to have an “endurance rating” of over 100 hours. It also has dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio support. Further, the handset is IP53 water-and-dust-resistant.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. Lastly, the device measures 160.53 x 75.73 x 6.81mm and weighs 157 grams.
