Vivo Y21s with 5,000mAh battery, Helio G80 SoC Launched: Price and Specifications

Vivo Y21s has been officially launched in the Indonesian market. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek chipset, and comes a triple rear camera setup with 50MP main sensor. The specifications of Vivo Y21s are almost the same as that of Vivo Y21, barring processor and camera differences.

The Vivo Y21s price starts at IDR 2,799,000 (around Rs 14,400) for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone is offered in Midnight Blue and Pearl White colour options. It is up for grabs exclusively on the online site Shopee. There is no information about the international availability of the phone.

The dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) Vivo Y21s runs on Android 11 with FunTouch OS 11.1 on top. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) IPS LCD display. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 gaming SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, that is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card slot.

As for optics, Vivo Y21s carries a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it has an 8MP camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Vivo Y21s is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options onboard include a 4G, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, OTG, USB Type-C port, and more. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Lastly, the phone measures 164 x 76 x 8mm and weighs 182 grams.
