Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has launched in the Indian market. The price of this foldable smartphone starts from Rs 1,49,999. It comes with a new protective film made of stretchable PET5 resulting in a more durable main screen – 80% more than previous devices. It also has comes with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate display. The phones is IPX8 water resistant and is the first foldable smartphone to support an S-Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 price in India starts at Rs 1,49,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option, while the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant costs Rs 1,57,999. It is offered in Phantom Black and Phantom Green colours. In the US, it is available in an additional Phantom Silver colour.
Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 is now up for pre-order. The phones is available via Samsung.com and leading retail stores as well. It has also been listed on Flipkart. Sale of the Galaxy Fold 3 will begin from September 10.
Pre-order offers for Galaxy Fold 3 and include an upgrade voucher of Rs 7,000 or HDFC Bank cashback of up to Rs 7,000 using credit card and debit card. Consumers will be eligible for free one-year Samsung Care+ accidental and liquid damage protection worth Rs 7,999 on pre-booking Galaxy Z Fold 3. The customers who have already pre-reserved Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be eligible for a free Galaxy SmartTag as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 runs on Android 11-based One UI. It features a 7.6-inch primary QXGA+ (2,208 x 1,768 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display with 22.5:18 aspect ratio, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 374ppi pixel density. It also has a cover screen with a 6.2-inch HD+ (832 x 2,268 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 22.5:9 aspect ratio, and 387ppi pixel density.
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a 5nm octa-core SoC paired with 12GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Samsung has provided S Pen support with the Galazy Z Fold 3.
As for optics, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 comes with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 12MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 12MP sensor with telephoto with dual OIS support and delivers up to 2x optical zoom and HDR10+ video recording. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 10MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 80° field-of-view on its cover. It also has an 4MP (f/1.8 lens) under-display camera on top of its folding screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is backed by a 4,400mAh battery with wireless and wired charging support, and enables reverse wireless charging. It supports 25W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, Ultra-Wideband (UWB), and a USB Type-C port.
As for dimensions, it measures [67.1 x 158.2 x 16mm] when folded and [128.1 x 158.2 x 6.4mm] when unfolded, and it weighs 271 grams.
