Samsung started rolling One UI 3.1 update to Galaxy Tab S6. This South Korean tech giant rolled the One UI 3.0 update back in 2020, and now Samsung is rolling One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 update to Galaxy Tab S6. Samsung is sending an unexpected update for the Galaxy Tab S6 users that brings Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top.
This was a total surprise for Galaxy Tab S6 users, as we weren’t expecting Samsung to release this latest update this early. However, this update is currently limited to the users in Germany and Europe, and we expect it to roll soon in other countries as well.
Identified with the firmware version T865XXU4CUB7, this update comes with a package size of 2.2GB with March 2021 security patch to improve devices stability and security. Along with March security patch, this update comes with exciting new One UI 3.1 features.
It was expected that Galaxy Tab S6 will get One UI 3.1 update in May, but Samsung has skipped the One UI 3.0 update on Galaxy Tab S6 and this handset is directly getting One UI 3.1 update after the One UI 2.5. This new update brings exiting Android 11 features with a refreshed UI and numerous other features.
One UI 3.1 Features:
- One UI 3.1 provides an uninterrupted continuation of Samsung Internet browsing and faster auto-sync of Samsung Notes across the connected devices.
- One UI 3.1 allows you to connect to a Windows PC and work across two different applications on each screen, with the help of Extended mode.
- One UI 3.1 brings a Wireless Keyboard Sharing feature which allows you to connect Book Cover Keyboard to the smartphone or tablet.
