- Display and Design
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5 inch FHD+ (1080×2340) Super AMOLED display which has 120Hz refresh rate and centered punch hole cutout. This display is HDR10+certified and has great, vibrant colors and dark, inky blacks.
The back of the phone is plastic and has a rectangular camera bump on the top left of the phone just like the Samsung Galaxy S20. Samsung is using plastic to bring the price of this phone down to $599.
The frame of the phone is made of Aluminium and on the front Samsung is using gorilla grass 3. Samsung has given the AKG powered stereo speaker one the S20 FE. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20 FE features a optical fingerprint sensor.
- Hardware and Software
Talking about software, Samsung S20 FE comes with Samsung’s custom UI OneUI 2.5 based on Android 10. As you already know, OneUI is a great user interface skin which is fully customizable so no conplains here.
On the Hardware side, Samsung is using the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 / Exynos 990 CPU and Android 650 GPU. This is a Octa-core core flagship SoC which will not disappoint you. You can see this same chip on the Oneplus 8 Pro which comes in the same price segment.
- Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Cameras
For photos and videos, the Galaxy S20 FE offers the triple rear camera setup that consists of a 12 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens as well as supports optical image stabilisation (OIS) and dual phase detection autofocus. You will also get a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and 123° field of view as well as an 8 MP telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
For selfies and video chats, the Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 32 MP selfie camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.0 lens on top. The front facing camera also has supports autofocus.
- Battery and Charging
Galaxy S20 FE has a 4,500 power cell which is gonna give you more than 1 day of battery backup if you are a normal user. The battery life can vary because if you use it with 60Hz, the battery life will be better. If you use it with 120Hz, your smartphone will lose battery quickly.
Like the flagship Galaxy S20, this comes with 15W fast charging, 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. These features make this smartphone better than Oneplus 8 Pro.
