Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 (aka Samsung Galaxy A82 5G) has surfaced online in the form of live images. The front and back panel images of this upcoming Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 smartphone has surfaced on Chinese microblogging website Weibo. According to the leaked images, the phone may come with a black back panel that comprises a triple camera setup on it.
The Galaxy Quantum 2 aka Galaxy A82 5G has been in the news for quite some time now and the phone is tipped to be a successor to the Samsung Galaxy A80 that was launched in April 2019.
Now, a known tipster, named Ice Universe has shared a few live images of a phone, that is believed to be the Galaxy Quantum 2, showing the back panel and front of the device. The front panel shows a centrally located hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera and it features slim bezels all around. On the black back panel, the phone has three camera sensors, along with a flash housed in a rectangular module.
These leaked images fall in line with the leaked poster and back panel live image that surfaced online last week. At the time, it was said that this smartphone will be available for pre-orders from 13th April and will be launched in South Korea on 23rd April.
Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 specifications
The Galaxy Quantum 2 aka Samsung Galaxy A82 5G may come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) Super-AMOLED Edge display with 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. It may pack an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It may also come with Quantum Random Number Generator chip to increase the data encryption.
Talking about optics, the Galaxy Quantum 2 is expected to come with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera sensor on the back. It may have a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The phone may feature IP67 water and dust resistance rating, Dolby Atmos support, expandable storage. It is expected that the phone will weigh 203 grams.
As of now, a white and a black variant of the Galaxy Quantum 2 have been seen in leaks. There may be 4G and 5G variants of this phone when it launches on 23rd April. It should be noted that Samsung has not shared any details about the rumoured Galaxy A82 5G.
