Samsung Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G are getting Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update. South Korea users of Galaxy A51 5G and A61 5G are getting this update, but it will be rolled out to a wider audience. The Indian variants of Galaxy A51 (4G) received the One UI 3.0 update in February this year.
According to some user reports on the Samsung Korea community forum, Samsung has rolled out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy A51 5G and Galaxy A71 5G.
The One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy A51 5G carries the build number A516NKSU3CUC4 and the build number for Galaxy A71 5G is A716SKSU3CUC4. The update for both phones will also be bundled with the latest Android security patch. Samsung is also providing the March 2021 security patches that improves the security of both of these phones.
This Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update brings new features such as a revamped UI, more widgets on the lock screen, background, Private Share, and a lot more. Users of these smartphones can manually check for this update by navigating to Setting > Software update > Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G comes with Exynos 980 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. It features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display and is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also carries similar specifications to Galaxy A51 5G. The differences lie in the display, the battery, and the camera. The Galaxy A71 comes a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display and a 64MP primary lens for the rear camera. The battery size of Galaxy A71 5G is the same size as of Galaxy A51 5G, but the A71 5G has 25W fast charging support.
