Samsung has started rolling the Android 11 update to its Galaxy A series smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy A02s is now getting the Android 11 update in Russia. This new software update, which carries firmware version A025FXXU2BUDC, also comes with the April 2021 security patch.
We don’t have an official changelog for this update, but it should include Android 11 features such as chat bubbles, auto permissions reset, one-time permissions, a dynamic media player widget below quick setting toggles, and easier access to smart home controls.
This update should also include One UI 3.1 features like a refreshed UI design, Dynamic Lockscreen options, more lockscreen widgets, improved version of stock Samsung apps like Samsung Internet and Samsung Keyboard. It should also include an improved design for the Device Care menu and improved Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
If you are a Galaxy A02s user in Russia, you can check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We expect this update to be released in more countries over the next few days.
