Redmi has teased the arrival of a new Redmi Note 10 series phone through its official Twitter account. The teaser includes a photo of a retail box with some key specifications on it. Xiaomi has already launched three smartphones in the Redmi Note 10 series in India – Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max.
This upcoming smartphone is teased to come with a 64MP primary camera, MIUI 12.5, and three colour options – Blue, Dark Grey, and White. The box also indicates that this smartphone will feature Hi-Res Audio support and a Super Display. As per the specifications, the handset is largely anticipated to be the Redmi Note 10S that was launched globally in January 2021.
If Xiaomi is indeed launching the Redmi Note 10S in India soon, its pricing should be somewhere in the range of Redmi Note 10, that is priced at Rs 12,499. A recent leak suggested that Redmi Note 10S will launch in India in three storage configurations:
- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage
As for specifications, the Redmi Note 10S was launched globally with Android 11-based MIUI 12.5. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED hole-punch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek Helio G95 SoC.
The Redmi Note 10S is expected to launch in India with quad rear cameras with a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, it has a 13MP camera sensor. The phone will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. This phone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
