Redmi Note 10S is set to launch in India on May 13 and a landing page for this phone is now live on Amazon. The Redmi Note 10S will be the latest addition to Redmi Note 10 series and it is a tweaked version of the Redmi Note 10. The Redmi Note 10 series was launched in India in March this year and it includes three phones — Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Note 10 Pro Max.
Earlier this month, Xiaomi confirmed that May 13,12PM (noon) is the launch date/timing for Redmi Note 10S. Now, an Amazon landing page has gone live that reveals some of its specifications. The company will hold a launch event for this handset on the date and it will go on sale via Amazon.
Redmi Note 10S specifications
Redmi Note 10S will feature a Super AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. As for optics, it will have a quad rear camera setup, headlined by a 64MP primary camera sensor.
The phone will pack a 5,000mAh battery, and is teased to support 33W fast charging. Redmi Note 10S is said to come with dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification, and IP53-rated water and dust resistance.
Previously, Xiaomi teased that Redmi Note 10S will debut with MIUI 12.5 custom skin in three colours – Blue, Dark Grey, and White. A leak from last month suggested the phone will be offered in three storage configurations — 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. It could be priced around the Redmi Note 10 that starts at Rs 12,499 in India.
Xiaomi will also launch the Redmi Watch alongside Note 10S smartphone on May 13. It will have a square-shaped dial and an advertised 12-day battery life.
