Realme GT 5G Retail Box surfaces Online: Specifications Leaked

Realme GT 5G retail box has been spotted on Weibo. Separately, Geekbench benchmarking site has listed a Realme smartphone with model number RMX2202. This been associated with the Realme GT 5G. The Geekbench listing reveals that this upcoming Realme smartphone will come with up to 12GB of RAM and a glass back. Special variant of Realme GT 5G will come with a leather back and a black-colour stripe.

Former Oppo Vice President Brian Shen has posted the Realme GT 5G retail box image on Weibo. The box appears to be of the Bumblebee leather model of the Realme GT 5G that could be called the Realme GT Ares Special Edition-Dawn, which was recently teased by Realme. Brian Shen also posted another image of smartphone, showing the back of the leather variant.

In addition to the photo posted, Geekbench has listed a phone that seems to be the Realme GT 5G. The online listing shows a Realme smartphone with the model number RMX2202, which has previously appeared on a certification site as Realme Race ( Realme GT 5G codename).

According to the Geekbench listing, the device comes with 12GB RAM and runs on Android 11. It also has an octa-core SoC with a base clock speed of 1.8GHz. Although this Geekbench listing doesn’t show the exact name of the chipset, it carries a codename “lahaina”, which is believed to be the Qualcomm  Snapdragon 888.

Apart from the specifications, Geekbench has listed a smartphone which has a single-core score of 1,138 and a multi-core score of 3,572.

The Realme GT 5G launch date in China is March 4th. Alongside the Realme GT 5G and its special edition model, Realme is expected to announce its new Internet of Things devices at the event.

Realme VP Chase Xu has revealed that the Realme GT 5G will come at price of under CNY 2,999 (around Rs 33,700). This could be price of the base variant, though the revealed pricing is significantly lower than the Vivo X60 Pro+ and Mi 11 that both debuted in China with the Snapdragon 888 chipset at a price of CNY 3,999 (around Rs 44,900) and CNY 4,998 (around Rs 56,100), respectively.
