OnePlus 9T 5G running ‘ColorOS 11 Global’ will launch in the third quarter of 2021, a tipster has claimed. The tipster also claims that the phone will be equipped with a Hasselblad quad rear camera setup which will be highlighted by a 108MP primary sensor. Some display specifications of OnePlus 9T 5G smartphone were leaked last month.
According to a tweet by a tipster on Twitter, OnePlus 9T 5G will launch with “ColorOS 11 Global” and a 108MP Hasselblad quad camera setup. In comparison, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro come with 48MP triple rear cameras, designed in collaboration with Hasselblad. Previous leaks have claimed the OnePlus 9T will feature a Samsung LTPO OLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
OnePlus usually reveal a T-variant of its flagship phones around six months after the launch of the flagship series. OnePlus announced the OnePlus 8T in October 2020 after it launched the OnePlus 8 series in April 2020. This year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9 series in March. There is no information on whether there will be a OnePlus 9T Pro model.
OnePlus has already replaced its native HydrogenOS with OPPO’s ColorOS for all its Chinese variants of flagship smartphones. Both the companies are owned by conglomerate BBK Electronics, which also owns the Realme, Vivo, and iQOO brands.
