Moto G50 5G Launched: Price and Specifications

Moto G50 5G has launched in the Australian market. The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, a triple camera setup with 48MP primary sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery. It packs a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with NFC support and 5G connectivity. Moto G50 5G has been launched in a single RAM + storage and a single colour option.

The Moto G50 5G price starts at AUD 399 (around Rs 21,500) for the sole 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in a single Meteorite Grey colour option. It is up for sale via the Lenovo Australia site.

The dual-SIM Moto G50 5G runs on Android 11. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 269ppi pixel density, and 85% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable up to 1TB via the hybrid microSD card slot.

As for optics, the Moto G50 5G carries a triple camera setup that houses a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. This camera setup is accompanied by a single LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13MP selfie camera sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Moto G50 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone is claimed to offer up to two days of battery life on a single charge. The company has provided a 10W charger inside the box.

The phone also packs a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, and more. Lastly, the phone measures 167 x 76.4 x 9.26mm and weighs 206 grams.
