Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 has been launched globally as a successor to the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel that launched in July 2020. The Legion Phone Duel 2 is a gaming phone that ckmes with a host of features meant to improve the gaming experience, including dual cooling fans, side-mounted charging port, and more. It also packs dual rear cameras and a pop-up selfie camera. The Legion Phone Duel 2 comes in two colour options and multiple storage configurations, depending on the region.

Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 price starts at
- EUR 799 (around Rs 71,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and
- EUR 999 (around Rs 88,800) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant.
The phone comes in Titanium White and Ultimate Black colour options. It will go on sale in select markets in Asia Pacific and Europe in May.
In China, where the phone is named Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro,
- The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 3,699 (around Rs 42,200).
- The 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 4,099 (around Rs 46,700).
- The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs CNY 4,399 (around Rs 50,100).
- The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant costs CNY 5,299 (around Rs 60,400).
- The 18GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs CNY 5,999 (around Rs 68,400).
The phone is offered in same two colours in China as well, and will go on sale this month in China.
As of now, Lenovo has not shared any details about the Indian availability of Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2.
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 specifications
The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 runs on Android 11-based ZUI 12.5. It features a 6.92-inch FHD+ (1,080 x 2,460 pixels) 8-bit HDR AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support. The display also comes with of 111.1% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, TUV Low Blue Light certification, and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Under the hood, Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and Adreno 660 GPU, paired with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Talking about optics, the Legion Phone Duel 2 comes with dual rear cameras that include a 64MP OmniVision OV64A image sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, and a 16MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, Lenovo has provided a 44MP Samsung GH1+ sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, housed in a pop-up mechanism located on the right side of the display. The idea behind this positioning is to allow gamers to stream while gaming on their Legion Phone Duel 2 in landscape mode.
The gaming phone packs a large 5,500mAh battery that is split into two 2,750mAh units. It comes with up to 90W fast charging support when both are connected via both USB Type-C ports. A single port connection delivers 65W fast charging. Sensors onboard include electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and a 3D motion sensor. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options on the gaming phone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth v5.2, and two USB Type-C ports, both of which can be used for charging. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 176bx 78.5 x 9.9mm and weighs 259 grams.
Gaming Features of Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2
Talking about the gaming features of Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2, it had Dual HaptiX X-axis haptic vibration linear motors, dual pressure touch buttons, dual capacitance keys, and quad ultrasonic shoulder buttons. It comes with integrated active cooling with a dual fan cooling system where the intake fan is capable of 12,500 rpm and the exhaust fan is capable of 15,000 rpm.
It also comes with vapour chamber liquid cooling system, all of which is housed in the central part of the phone that keeps the phone cool to the touch when under load. The Legion Phone Duel 2 also has RGB lighting on the back.
