Huawei P40 4G has been launched in China with same specifications as Huawei P40 5G. The phone is offered in two colour variants and a single RAM and storage configuration. Huawei P40 4G comes with a triple camera setup at the back and it has a selfie camera and an infrared sensor housed in a pill-shaped cutout at the front.
Huawei P40 4G price, availability
Huawei P40 4G price starts at CNY 3,988 (around Rs 45,250) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It comes in Dark Blue and Frost Silver colour options and is currently available for pre-booking on JD.com.
It will go on sale in Huawei’s home turf starting tomorrow, March 2. The company has not shared any information about the international availability of the P40 4G smartphone.
Huawei P40 4G specifications
The specifications of Huawei P40 4G are identical to the 5G variant. The Huawei P40 4G handset features a 6.1-inch (1080 × 2340 pixels) OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the octa-core Kirin 990 chipset, instead of the Kirin 990 5G found in Huawei P40 5G. The smartphone comes with 128GB of internal storage
Talking about optics, the P40 4G comes with a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle shooter with f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto f/2.4 aperture. At the front, it has a 32MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture as well as an infrared sensor.
Huawei P40 4G pack a 3,800mAh battery which supports 22.5W fast charging. Connectivity options on this smartphone include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 148.9 × 71.06 × 8.5mm and weighs 175 grams.
