Honor Magic 3 series Including three smartphones has been launched globally. The Honor Magic 3 series includes three models — Honor Magic 3, Honor Magic 3 Pro, and Honor Magic 3 Pro+. All the handsets have been launched globally. The Honor Magic 3 series comes with 5G support and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.
Honor Magic 3 series price, availability
Honor Magic 3 price starts at CNY 4,599 (around Rs 52,800) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 4,999 (around Rs 57,300) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It comes in Bright Black, Dawn Blue, Glaze White, and Gold colour options.
Honor Magic 3 Pro price starts at CNY 5,999 (around Rs 68,800) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, CNY 6,299 (around Rs 72,300) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, and CNY 6,799 (around Rs 78,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. It comes in Bright Black, Glaze White, and Gold colour options.
Honor Magic 3 Pro+ is priced at CNY 7,999 (around Rs 91,800) for the lone 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It is offered in Bright Black and Glaze White colour options.
The three models have been launched globally but are available for pre-order in China as for now. They will go on sale starting August 20 in China. Honor has not shared any information on international availability of Honor Magic 3 series.
Honor Magic 3 specifications
Honor Magic 3 runs Android 11-based Magic UI 5.0. It features a 6.76-inch FHD+ (1,344 x 2,772 pixels) OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 456ppi pixel density, and 89% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
As for optics, Honor Magic 3 carries a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 64MP black-and-white sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies and video calls, it has a 13MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture at the front.
Honor Magic 3 packs a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support as well as reverse charging via USB OTG. The phone is IP54 water and dust resistant. Connectivity options onboard include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS / A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
Sensors onboard include ambient light, gyroscope, e-compass, accelerometer, gravity sensor, Infrared sensor, and proximity sensor. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the phone measures 162.8 x 74.9 x 8.99mm and weighs 203 grams.
Honor Magic 3 Pro specifications
The Honor Magic 3 Pro carries over a lot of the specifications from the Honor Magic 3 but comes with some improvements as well. It comes with the same display but is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC and has up to 12GB of RAM + up to 512GB of storage.
In terms of optics, the Pro variant carries a quad rear camera setup. It has an additional 64MP periscope telephoto sensor with an f/3.5 lens. Rest of the three sensors are same as Honor Magic 3. At the front, it has a 13MP sensor with is an additional depth sensor in the pill-shaped cutout.
Honor Magic 3 Pro packs the same 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, but it also supports 50W wireless charging along with reverse wireless charging. It has the same dimensions as the vanilla variant but weighs 213 grams. It also comes with IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
Honor Magic 3 Pro+ specifications
Honor Magic 3 Pro+ has the same specifications as the Pro model but brings improvements in the camera department. The primary 50MP sensor also comes with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and the 13MP ultra-wide camera sensor is replaced by a 64MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture. So, there is a 50MP sensor and three 64MP sensors on the back of Honor Magic 3 Pro+. The camera setup also supports 3.5X optical zoom, 10X hybrid zoom, and a whopping 100X digital zoom.
