Google Pixel 5 has been launched as the best flagship phone from Google. The new Pixel phone comes alongside the Pixel 4a 5G that is a 5G version of the Pixel 4a. Both the Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset and. The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G both come with the same dual rear cameras as well as an 8 MP selfie camera and features a punch hole display design.
Google also unveiled a Portrait Light feature and an Extreme Battery Saver mode which can increase battery life by up to 48 hours. As a superior option in the lineup, the Google Pixel 5 features wireless charging. The Pixel 5 also comes with an aluminium body that is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G price
Google Pixel 5 price starts at $ 699 (around ₹ 51,400), whereas the Google Pixel 4a 5G starts at $ 499 (around ₹ 37,000). Both phones will be limited to 5G markets – Australia, France, Ireland, Japan, Canada, Taiwan, Germany, UK, and the US.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G will launch first in Japan on 15th October, and begin rolling out in other countries from November, while the Pixel 5 will be available across all 9 countries from October 15 in Sorta Sage and Just Black colour options.
The Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will not come to India, as the company revealed in August.
Google Pixel 5 specifications
The Google Pixel 5 runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box and features a 6 inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340) OLED display with 432ppi pixel density and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection and a refresh rate of 90Hz. This device is powered by an octacore Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The Google Pixel 4a 5G runs on Android 11 and features a 6.2 inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) OLED display with 413ppi pixel density and Corning Glass 3 protection. The Pixel 4a 5Gis powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, paired with 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
